If there ever was a character that deserved
the term "studio rat," it's Andrew. Born to singer/voice
over artist Suzy Nelson and long-time engineer Paul Vastola, Andrew
has spent a good portion of his life in studios. From riding his big
wheel down the hallways and hanging out under his mom's chair while
she did sessions, to setting up mics for his dad and engineering his
own sessions, Andrew is comfortable anywhere in the studio with any
type of project. In 2004, he finished his Bachelor of Science degree
with an emphasis in music technology from the University of Colorado
at Denver. Due to his amenable personality and superior engineering
skills, he has become a routinely requested engineer here at Rocky
Mountain Recorders in a very short time. When Andrew is not posting
commercials or working in the studio with bands, he is out producing
