  The machine room is just that;
a cold, clean room where the shared machines live.

Here we keep all our video transports: a digital beta, DVCPRO (standard definition), beta sp, 3/4” machines, and the (s)vhs, and a DVD recorder. Our Fibre Channel SAN is also located here, hosted with Fibreshare, along with our ISDN Codecs, the Prima 220, and CDQ 2000. (RMR is an ED net affiliate.)

The machine room is also where transfers and captures of non-linear video and audio happen. As RMR moves toward high definition, more and more clients are requesting file format delivery, and we are quite capbale in that capacity as well.
